Shape Young Minds with Confidence and Care

D.ED. Program at Canaan Academy

At Canaan Academy, the Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) is your gateway to becoming a qualified educator at the elementary level. This two year program is structured to equip aspiring teachers with a solid grounding in child development, pedagogy, and curriculum design perfect for those passionate about nurturing young minds. It’s tailored for both school-based and distance learning modes to suit diverse lifestyles and career goals.

Program Overview & Learning Outcomes

Our D.Ed. curriculum focuses on core teaching competencies and essential subjects such as child development and learning, curriculum and pedagogy, language instruction, environmental science, mathematics, art education, physical education, social science, literature, and general science. You’ll learn both the theory and practice behind engaging educational experiences in the early years.
By the end of this program, you’ll be well-prepared to guide children through their formative years with confidence, empathy, and a deep understanding of various learning needs.

Who Can Apply & Admission Essentials

To be eligible for the D.Ed. course, candidates need a minimum of 50% marks in their Higher Secondary (12th grade) or equivalent examination. There is no age restriction—you’re welcome to apply, regardless of your stage in life or career.
Required documentation for admission typically includes:
